South Sudan: Nutrition Officer (1 post)

-Work closely with the Health & Nutrition Program Officer Manager to achieve program objectives and targets effectively and efficiently
-Screening and manage malnutrition at Stabilization centre (SC) and OTP;
-Supervise implementation of other nutrition modalities (TSFP, BSFP, IFP) as appropriate;
-Adhere to the National nutrition protocols in the management of SAM and MAM cases;
-Engage in Nutrition screening of children below five years, Kalaazar patients, Pregnant and Lactating Women;
-Maintain stock of nutrition supplies and update the Nutrition Manager.
-Support and coordinate nutrition staff on IYCF activities;
-Compile weekly reports for SC, OTP and SFP and maintain proper management of data accumulated per week.
-Work with the Nutrition Supervisor in compiling nutrition reports and health reports that are done weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually;
-Collaborate with the Nutrition Supervisor and the Nutrition Officer and Nutrition Coordinator in writing of projects concerning nutrition;
-Represent COSV in Nutrition meetings for at Community and county levels;
-Support to build capacity of CHD/SMoH staffs in nutrition care and activities;
-Perform the tasks assigned in a manner which complies with procedures and regulations and COSV Code of Conduct;
-Display maximum confidentiality regarding all facts, information and documentation produced or which they receive in performing their assignment;
-In compliance with contractual and legal obligations, to demonstrate a spirit of collaboration, adapting with flexibility to the operating requirements of the organization;
-Display integrity and propriety in use of the resources and tangible assets of the organization;
-Display transparency and propriety in relations with third parties, avoiding all forms of corruption;
-Be flexible in case of changes or request to perform duty outside the job description;
-Any other tasks assigned by the Nutrition Coordinator and COSV team.

Requirements:

• South Sudanese national.
• Diploma in Nutrition or equivalent
• At least three years working experience.
• Relevant experience in Nutrition management, or working in SC.
• Good reporting skills.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
