About Global Health Corps

Global Health Corps (GHC) is a leadership development organization focused on building the next generation of diverse, disruptive global health leaders. Founded in 2009, we competitively recruit talented professionals (ages 21-30) from a range of sectors and backgrounds and place them in high-impact roles within partner organizations -- including Clinton Health Access Initiative, Partners in Health, Planned Parenthood Global, and Government Ministries in Zambia, Rwanda, and Uganda -- working on the front lines of health equity in Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, the US, and Zambia.

GHC is seeking fellows from a wide range of backgrounds, geographies, and expertise. Through a one-year paid fellowship program, fellows provide the expertise and leadership potential needed to fill capacity gaps in global health.

About Placement Organization

CMMB is a leading faith-based NGO focused exclusively on global health care for the world’s poor, by building healthy, sustainable communities through community engagement and partnerships. Now entering its second century, CMMB is committed to integrating and focusing its programming around saving the lives of children and mothers by concentrating on leading causes of mortality in targeted communities.

CMMB is working in partnership with our donors, other agencies and local community groups and church health facilities to establish CHAMPS (Children And Mothers Partnerships) in those communities. Our programs are focused on providing a more effective impact on the lives of children and mothers in a long-term, strategic manner to address the leading causes of maternal and child death, disability and illnesses. These programs aim to reduce preventable deaths by increasing access to healthcare services in the communities where CMMB works, and by strengthening capacity within local health facilities. Through community-led efforts, our goal is to improve health and build a strong community for the future.
