REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR DESIGN, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING AND MAINTENANCE OF A SOLAR–POWERED SURFACE WATER PUMPING EQUIPMENT IN BELET HAWA AND LUUQ DISTRICTS, GEDO REGION, SOMALIA – IFQ: DF/SP/2015/1
Dialog Forening Somalia (DF) is a Non-profit organization established in 2003 by Somalia diaspora communities to operate as a bridge builder between donors, international NGOs, investors and the Somali community; it also collaborates with other Somali-Diaspora organizations, in order to form a platform where all other Somali organizations can cooperate to achieve their objectives. DF has secured funds to cover eligible payment under a contract for the Design, Supply, Installation, Commissioning And Maintenance Of A Solar–Powered Surface Water Pumping Equipment in Belet Hawa and Luuq Districts, Gedo Region, Somalia.
DF invites proposals (“Bids”) from eligible and qualified entities or persons (“Bidders”) to provide the Work referenced above, which is being offered as a lump-sum fixed price contract for each of the 2 LOTS.
· LOT 1: Belet Hawa
· LOT 2: Luuq
Bidding will be conducted using Competitive Bidding and is open to all Bidders eligible that meet the following minimum qualification criteria – have performed similar supply and installation work with minimum contract value of $100,000 within the last 3 years

- Location:Belet Hawa and Luuq Districts, Gedo region, Somalia
- Description of work: The Contract is for design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of a solar–powered surface water pumping equipment in Belet Hawa and Luuq Districts, Gedo Region, Somalia. The Contractor shall be responsible for supply and installation of: Pump, Solar Photovoltaic System, System control and monitoring as well as other system accessories. In addition, the contractor shall also be responsible for testing and commissioning and training of operators.
- Type of Award:Firm Fixed Price.
