GENERAL FUNCTIONS
§ Data Entry (posting/updating) transactions in the Galileo database related to Physical Verification Plan.
§ Updating/cleaning of commodity data in Galileo based on Physical Verification Reports.
§ Conduct Physical Inspection Verification of assets and commodities.
§ Prepare weekly inventory reports using Business Object Report Tool of all stockholdings and submit to Mogadishu Chief MLB (Mogadishu Logistic Base).
§ Work closely with Material Management Group (MMG) colleagues to ensure all Self Accounting Units (SAU) are complying with and meeting humanitarian Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
§ Any other duties as required.
Work implies frequent interaction with the following: Chief MLB, MLB Operations, MMG, Physical Verification Team, Asset Managers, and other key customers in the area of operators.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Education:
§ High School Diploma or equivalent.
§ Technical or vocational certificates in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fields is a requirement.
§ Qualifications related to Information Technology highly desirable.
Work Experience:
§ At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience of practical field logistics operations.
§ Knowledge of Inventory Management Techniques and Warehousing Operations essential.
§ Knowledge of maintaining database and ability to use MS Office software highly desirable.
Languages:
§ Fluency in oral and written English is required.
§ Knowledge of Kiswahili is an advantage.
